A ring world could have all the tech levels, with world-sized islands a week apart by boat...
Each segment is a Standard World, 25000 mile circumference, in size.
I may add a hundred or so more, the ones I'm not using as named planets. Checking my folder of the unused ones, about 36 of them. Then come up with a location for the ring world in my variation of the TU.
Some are mostly ocean, some with 50% to 80% water, and some with under 30% water. Some the water is a much darker blue. I could use several dry, or several ocean segments, to separate various civilizations.
