Power Projection Anyone?

Hey all:

I confess that I am space combat gaming nut, especially "Full Thrust".
With that, I am really looking forward to the release of Power Projection from BITS. Anyone have any info or tried the demos at US or UK GenCon?

I had a brief look at it at GenCon UK. Seems interesting enough, though I'm not sure the wine gums were part of the rule set.

I wasn't sure it was that polished, but I didn't pay it that much attention I admit. Seemed a bit rushed to get it out the door for GenCon. However saying that BITS products have always been of relatively good quality in the past so I'm sure if I sat down and read them they'd be fine. If you're a Full Thurst fan they use similar principles and you should get along fine with them.

From what I've heard they used the candies as a method of teaching game mechanics. You either have to fly through the treat or shoot it to eat them. I believe they got the technique from a fellow from Madison, WI who uses chocolates to teach movement for his own space combat system.

Essentially, they came out with a pre-release "Lite" version which they are going to clean up and sell a "Power Projection: Escorts" The complete rules are supposed to come out this Winter.
