Also, the .410 shot shell, when loaded with rock-salt, gets 6-15 feet, makes a really loud bang, and they will be swearing like mad... and it counts as less than lethal in most areas. ("intentionally maiming" in a few).

And, from more than 15', typically won't go through double layer 3/8" sheetrock (gypsum wallboard).

ALso available in .410: magnesum flare. For when you want them to die VERY painfully.

Dont forget the flechette/sabot round. It does quite well on armour targets (at least getting through the armour. It makes them think twice about what you got for a firearm.
