My chargen program defaults to assigning a career based on Soc; Other, Citizen, or Noble. Books 1 and Supp 4 give Skill tables for Other and Noble, are there any recommendations on skills for regular Citizens?

Vehicle
Streetwise
Blade Combat
Steward
Mechanical
Administration

That's based on going backwards from the MgT 1e book, and looking at TTB skill list.

To the above list I would add:
Electronics
Brawling
Computer
Medical
Bribery
Gambling
It's basically the 'Other' career with gun combat, forgery and JoT removed.

Okay, so far:

Personal Development Table
  1. +1 Str
  2. +1 Dex
  3. +1 End
  4. +1 Int
  5. Carousing
  6. Brawling

Service Skills Table
  1. Mechanical
  2. Vehicle
  3. Streetwise
  4. Bribery
  5. Gambling
  6. Blade

Advanced Education Table
  1. Steward
  2. Electronics
  3. Medical
  4. Computer
  5. Admin
  6. +1 Soc

Advanced Education Table (Edu 8+)
  1. Admin
  2. Ship's Boat
  3. Electronics
  4. Medical
  5. Liasion
  6. Computer

Looks good although I notice you have snuck in Liaison and Carousing which are not LBB:1 skills, but are available in S:4.

Not sure why ship's boat skill would be available to a generic citizen career; it can be folded into vehicle skill as per LBB:5

Ah, didn't know Ship's Boat could be under vehicle. I envisioned cargo handlers at a high port; not Navy but just ordinary folks. Will fix that.

The S4 skills might get brought in; I'm using the Noble career from there. The overall idea is that someone could take the program and add whatever careers they wanted fairly easily. Haven't gotten there yet, but working on it.

Addendum: Changed "Ship's Boat" to "JoT" since almost all other Careers in S4 get it.
