Small Arm Weapon List

I did up a few "classic" firearms onto my weapon index cards 30 years back.

Still have them but no guarantee they are suitable or accurate in regards to range and penetration values. Need to check :)

Here are some scans of some classic weapons from my weapon index cards. I did these well over 25 years ago, so they are "as is" (including my left handed spider scrawl)

I do have other weapon cards, including percussion cap weapons and smooth bores.

I hope they are what you are chasing or can assist you in some small way.

@Madmike

Wow!!! Wicked.... thanks so much....Madmike... That is what I am looking for. +hehehe+ I am going to snag these for my setting... Also, how did you determine all the modifiers? Was it done through a trial-n-error type method? I have only played Traveller twice, so no real experience with customizing... tweeking the system still eludes me.

Thanks...

I made a list of weapons from Traveller, going through all the books, then selected calibers, and went to BTRC's 3G3 & More Guns for stats. I deliberately nerfed them - if a given gun worked out as a damage value of 16 (BTRC's system), I wrote it as 14, for example. So instead of 4d4, players got 1d10+1d4. Then I picked pictures for each gun, based on manufacturing race, and gave them that catalog. The catalog showed price, magazine capacity, and legality. The weapon stats were on a separate sheet they didn't get to see until they actually got into combat. Helped a lot with reducing min/max and looking for the "best" gun. I also excluded all autoburst, full-auto, and other squad;level or higher weapons.
I figure the 3I is big enough to be blase about the possibility of individuals owning any Individual Weapon, thus restricting only higher-level weapons, but I still didn't want my players able to buy an M-16. AR-15 analogs are available legally. M-16 analogs required them to go black market. But then I added up recoil and aiming penalties for every bullet just to make full-auto worthless for anything except suppression fire.

We have a huge excel list for our traveller universe. A lot of the stuff needs to be tweaked, because some of it is too unrealistic, but we think it is pretty good. Its not for commercial use though so you can reproduce it for game purposes, but you can't sell it. If it would help you, I could find a way to get it to you.

Carbines, Assault rifles, Rifles, Accelerator rifles, Auto Rifles, ACRs, Gauss rifles, LAGs, SMGs, Shotguns, Splatguns, Lasers, Plasma guns, Fusion guns.

There is even some non-canon stuff like:
Trench guns, Needlers, Blasters and Bolters if you want to use it?

It goes from tech 6 to tech 16.

Don't all jump at once . . . .
