Somebody order a G-carrier?

I have the Morningstar which I think can work as an alternative to the Broadsword and fill the 800-ton patrol cruiser niche, after all it does have twin shuttles and can carry 35 troops, much like the Fun Ball.

I think it fits a TL-C or -D ship in the TU.

These are decent G-carriers...

I always used to think of the Moon Bus in 2001: A Space Odyssey, but looking back at it now, it looks a little big:

Actually, looking at the movie again ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDAWszeZtNg , 8 minutes in), the Moon Bus looks just right for the G-Carrier, and even has a similar cross section to the OPs!

I like the Carrier and the six-pack concept. The Cutter could have an 'external' spine and still fit the 'streamlined cylinder' description, so you could have a completely cylindrical module if you wanted to. Depends on how hogtied you are with Canon.
Hell, you could even go for a rectangular 'cylinder' if you stretch the interpretation.
