Hiya, while on YouTube I had a recomended video show up based on my searching for all those cool Traveller videos ABoulton and the rest of you post there.

Dimsdale00 has at least two videos with art stolen from MAGMAGMAG, ABoulton, cover art from our worthy host sites books...oh heck there is just too much stuff I recognized as coming from our site to list.

"Tribute to the classic science fiction RPG Traveller from GDW in HD part 1", and part 2 were the two I watched but I could bet money he has stolen art in all 33 of his videos.

Just thought you all needed to know about the theft of your artwork.

Hmmm, well I spotted four of my pictures in there.

If he had asked first, I'd probably been fine about it, but there's not even a credit at the end....

There a few bits of mine in there too, it's kind of inevitable I suppose.
What gets me is that people are congratulating the guy for putting it together as if he is somehow responsible for the content.

It looks like the poster is doing montages of all sorts of scifi art including Traveller. It appears the poster may have looked through the library at CotI, picked what he liked, and made a video of them.

Unfortunate, but also strangely reassuring. Given some of the "homages" the original artists made (notably the Keith brothers) by "borrowing" from other popular sci-fi art, this seems to uphold the tradition.

It was actually rather a jolt to see two of my maps in the collage. It reminded me that I needed to fix the glaring typo that's in one of 'em, too.

That also means he culled the Traveller wiki for some of that art, since I placed my maps there, but was always too lazy to figure out how to put them in here.

I ask since at 0:07 in to part two I see a slide (I think Slide 1 of 5) of the 1323^rd. Oddly both proud and uptight about it. *shrugs*

Glad to hear he's adding the credits for the artwork. I'd like to know more about that Nike Athena ( Nike Zeus ) art that was in there. and there were a couple of others that caught my eye too.

BTW, we went to an IKEA store in Orlando, FL yesterday and we saw a bedroom that's just about the right size for a Starship Stateroom. Gave me lots of Ideas on what is possible. Next time I go I'm taking the camera with me and taking pictures just some extra food for thought
