Welcome to the new COTI server. We've moved the Citizens to a new server. Please let us know in the COTI Website issue forum if you find any problems.
We, the systems administration staff, apologize for this unexpected outage of the boards. We have resolved the root cause of the problem and there should be no further disruptions.
I could swear that the dates weren't there when I looked the other day....either that or I was so out of my gourd with exhaustion that I didn't see them...
I assume that QLI will have a booth in the Dealer's Room, right? Would you mind posting a small notice to those COTI members that drop by to let them know about the time and location of our little shindig? I'd recommend either Thursday or Saturday, circa 5pm, as the time. I'd also suggest we select either a local dining establishment or coffee shop as our location. I haven't been there, but thankfully there's info on the web for the convention center:
So long as there's a COTI, I imagine there'll be an effort to have a COTI Gathering at each GenCon and other major Cons where Traveller is played. Sorry we'll miss ya, but there will be other chances, my friend.
AS some one else who is going to end up on the floor all day, I am not going to miss a gathering at 17:00 hrs, no matter what. But I want a cool place off site, where hair(such as it is) can be let down and it can be just a fun time. Not that I am picky about who I hang out with. Gee just look who I hang with online. ( Yes this means you!)

But i will let you know when we know where we are at on the floor.
And of course we will have a booth at Gencon!
Missing Gencon is not an option!!
5pm means one of us wil have to leave the booth a tad early. But I am sure we can handle that.
IF we had enough people, we could maybe get a small room at the convention center.
Yes, lets' pick a spot that's close to the convention center, a bar or eatery or somesuch where we can let our hair downa nd the traveller groupies can find us...*snicker*
I'm just kidding..heh..

Looks like the GenCon website now has the Game Catalog available for perusal before events can be ordered as part of preregistration. At this time, the only Traveller events scheduled (T20 or otherwise) in the catalog are mine, being Thursday, Friday and Saturday 7pm-1am. I was hoping that I'd also get the chance to play some T20 (or even some other form of Traveller), but it appears the fates are not with me on this particular venture.
(Then again, not all events have been posted, I'm sure, as the RPGA slots and WOTC seminars have yet to hit the catalog. Maybe there's a chance, just maybe.
)
I've heard two suggestions for the COTI Libery Party, those being Thursday at 5pm local or Saturday at 5pm local. If no one else wants to make an executive decision, then might I suggest Saturday evening. People are probably more in need of relaxing a bit after two-three days of straight gaming at that point, and I'll actually know some of you guys after meeting you face-to-face at the T20 adventures I'll be running at the Con.
