yes - you read it right! T-4...i know little or next to nothing about this Traveller system...just what i hear inthe forum.....cant be ALL bad....Queston what are the BEST books to look at?....the most useful (if any)????...whats INSIDE them???

is milliaum O (spelling)? about NEAR EARTH?

Well, I would agree that it's not all bad. Just 90% or so.

The main rule book is in bad need of a good editor, the task system is totally broken and the ship construction rules are broken as well. On the good side, character generation is well done and the Psi rules are the best set in Traveller.
Replace the two things above and it's usable.

The original Solomani sourcebook (GDW) has more than enough about Near Earth campaign. For Milieu 0, is all about the expansion of the 3I but remember Cleon was reluctant to recontact Earth in case that it possessed a superior tech that would overview the infant 3I.

I never got to read James Malislski's article on the Rule of Man. Did it offer any greater details about how to play in this Milieu or was it essentially a repeat of all that has been said before. I have always felt the Long Night offered more possibilities than what we saw in T4.
 
Oh, and M0 Campaign (the hardcover version) is about the birth of the 3rd Imperium in year 0 not anywhere near earth. That's going to be in the Interstellar Wars book(s) from SJGames. Poor economics but if YTU is a dark and mean TU, this is probably the best book put out for T4.

Personally I sold the copy I had. YMMV.
