Interesting link. Not sure if most people understand how wildly different the Earth's environment can be. I just discovered while cruising around the Big Island of Hawaii, that while on the windward side of Hawaii, you have average rainfall of in excess of 280 inches per year, on the leeward side of the volcanoes, you have areas with less than 10 inches of rain per year that qualify as desert. And that is on one not very large island.
