Terran Trade Authority is to be resurrected

Will the book be available through online sales outlets like Amazon? For those of us outside the Americas.

Yes, it will but I can't tell you when. Amazon can sometimes take a very long time updating their releases. You will also be able to order it directly from us (Morrigan Press). We'll have a Buy It Now button on our site allowing people to pay using PayPal.

We have ourselves an art team.
In addition to Adrian Mann ( Terran Trade Authority ), who is doing all of the major ship illutrations, we have assembled a talented group to tackle the line art, incidental illustrations, and do additional work with the ships. The team is being led by Mike Majestic, the other half of Studio Vulne Pro. In his gallery, he has a nice pic of a couple of slightly modified Alphan Minnows: (Vulne Pro's Deviant Art Page) Please note that this is currently the only piece posted that deals with the TTA project.

With the internet as a means of advertising it might do better the second time around then it did when it was first published. Heck, I never knew it existed.

Good Luck TTA! :D

Man if it does twice as good as the original books I'll be shopping around for other companies to buy... wonder if WOTC is up for sale? :)

(the original books sold 800,000 copies!)

How about a new ship?

The CAM 216 Vulcan, mentioned in passing in the original Spacecraft 2000 - 2100 AD, but never depicted... until now. Art by Adrian Mann.

Yes, that's a Piranha going down... obviously this is from the TTA propaganda archives... ;)

I also should mention that this image is cropped quite a bit- the full-size image will, of course, appear in the book.

Yep, there's a few new ones - in addition to the Vulcan, there'll be two which featured in passing - the Panther and Avery C14, Pathfinder, which gets mentioned but not seen, and the Cobra - but you won't see that one yet! It's quite a challenge to design, build and texture the ships so that they look obviously TTA-inspired, and Jeff has been doing a quite extraordinary job writing the background text for them. He's so good that I've been going back to the original books, looking for the pages that I must have missed!
I couldn't miss the opportunity of getting one of those pesky Piranhas - seems like I have a job waiting for me in the future as a TTA Press Officer!

It amazes me how Adrian fits his new designs so seamlessly into the canon. It looks like the Vulcan got lost somewhere in hyperspace and has just joined its companions after a 28-year absence... I mean, it WORKS. The new ships are in some very talented artistic hands, people!

Very pretty. And, equally important, in keeping with the existing ships. Not a mean feat, considering how those originals were never intended to be in keeping with each other.

Nice ship Adrian!

BTW - will there be a dedicated TTA forum coming soon? There's a hell of a lot of TTA stuff I'd love to talk about - but a Traveller forum doesn't seem the right place... :(

Thanks for all the positive comments on the Vulcan. It was a joint effort between myself and Jeff (Hatrax) and between us we came up with a design, history and rationale which more or less defined what it should look like, within the TTA universe. There's more, but the first you'll see of them is in the book!
