RE: Bid-YBS-RQ-IMI_6-MvT-013sm, ISS Blue Smoke.

Dear Gentlebeings:

It should be noted that unless HIM is Granting me a Letter of Enfeoffment to include the Use of Imperial Personnel as Personal Crew in Livery, this Vessel requires the ability to function with minimum Crew.

Thank you again for your submissions.

I have this in mind, along with a general deckplan idea. if it seems suitable then I can attempt the actual deckplan. mostly book 5, with some of my own rules thrown in. adjustments are certainly possible.

I'd be interested in seeing this one! I could always pick it up from my considerable land holdings.

How about a 100 ton yacht based on a scout hull? What could we come up with to improve that little Wanderer class Yacht in GT Nobles?

It's a handy little ship...but I'm sure we could improve it a little!

Jump fuel should be 240 dT.

(How do you get power plant fuel of 27? Relying solely on my memory (always risky) I would have said that you needed 30 (Of course, IMO power plant fuel should be much, much lower than HG has it, but that's by the way).

Hans

Hans:
27ep, 27 tons of fuel. It's HG.
PP is a 4.5, not a 5.

Saarthuran:
Normal deckplan sizes:
CT/MT/T20/MoT*: 1.5x1.5 m squares, 3m tall, 2 squares to the dton
TNE: 2x2m squares, 3.5m tall, 1 square to the dton.

*corrected after printing runs 1 and 2...

Also, it is customary that only half the size of SR's is in the SR itself... so your staterooms are the right size. the other half of their volume should be in commons spaces.

Also, Power plant ratings round down; it has PP4 with extra power, not a full 5, and only if TL15 (otherwise, the PP is too small)

Right. I will fix the scale marker to have a 3d rectanglo-cuboid to show the dton unit. I always use this square stacked on top of a square dton unit when visualizing a starship.

*humming a happy tune*

Ah, she is so gorgeous...I am in Love!

Wow, after all those times giving them out and now I have one of my own....wow.

It is good to be nice to the nice. :D

Of course now I'll be twice to three times as busy, but I have a Starship!

*does a Happy Dance for the Lord singing like a goon*

I GOT A STARSHIP, I GOT A STARSHIP! BLUE SMOKE RULES!

*goes on like this for far longer than you people see*

For a deckplan 2d profile square?

2.5 feet per square? I went with 1.5m per square, or a 5' by 5' square, as the deckplan is getting blown up to Snapshot size. The deckplan square of course assumes that the square is actually a rectangular mass box.

Im confused by the many interpretations of the mass volume business. That's why when something is a Ton, its a Square. it seems to work out proportionaltely to the body markers.

So is a rectangular shape 2.5 feet square at its base and top, and five feet high a ton? That seems wierd. How would headroom clearance be resolved without 3 meter cielings?

1dt is two 1.5m deckplan squares, ie a cuboid 1.5m wide x 3m long x 3m high (=13.5m3).

Alternatively, for TNE, one 2m square, ie 2m x 2m x 3.5m (=14m3).
