The title.

So, can anyone think of a good title for this? Obviosuly Hunter/Martin/Bruce have the final say, but let's give them ideas.

Hunter came up with 1001 Starports last night, but claimed he was joking.
Still, its a good title.

Other ideas:

Portside - Starports of Chartered Space

Starport Creation Guidebook

Starports - Gateways to the Stars (but could be interprested as part of the Gateway line)

Let's hear the ideas folks!

Well, since this has the intended goal of a 10-20 minute process, why not:

"Fast 'port Generator's Guide",

"Starport Generation Booklet",

"Starport Speed Generator's Guide.",

or...

"Ports of Call: Starports Made Easy "

How about something like "Ports of Call: Starport Construction Guide." I like using the word Construction, as it gives the idea of building something. Or maybe "Ports of Call: Starport Quick Construction Guide," to also project the connotation that it is fast, simple and easy-to-use.

Or you could go all out and call it something like "Ports of Call: A Starport Quick Construction Guide for Traveller."

Star Port HUNTER???....Hell No Capt., I aint never heard of it!!!...Its where??? How big??..
Must be a real Dump!!!!

Agree with using the word Construction - makes the book sound "crunchy".

I'd prefer to drop the "quick" part. While there will probably be a basic generation system for very quick, general building by the Referee rolling some dice, I think there needs to be a detailed design section similar to the Starship Design section in the THB. This also facilitates having several chapters on the details of Starports in the TU to help bring those folks new to Traveller get the "feel" of the setting.

Agreed.. the adjective isn't necessary. And without getting trite, using "lite" etc or other well known words. Construction = crunchiness.
the "options" chapter is for the real detail if this Port of call is to be used frequently in a GM's campaign!
Thanks SMiling DM!
