Jeez, a guy can't even get banned when he requests it in a timely manner here. What's taking the mods so long?
But since I have nothing to lose, I thought I'd throw in a few more observations while I'm waiting for that sweet, glorious Boot.
- it's funny how people start coming out of the woodwork to support me after I say I'm leaving. Could have done with that a little earlier...
- Despite others showing how they're wrong (and the fact that I'm supposed to be gone by now), Dameon and sid are still insisting they're correct when they're not. And looking more and more stupid by the minute.
- I guess that given that he can't stand assholes, Dameon must really hate himself now since only an asshole would deliberately set out to piss someone else off.
- RoS: I wouldn't have said any of the things that would supposedly get me banned anywhere else if the resident idiots here hadn't been baiting me all the time. Of course, if this board had effective moderation in the first place then they would have been stopped from doing that, and none of this would have happened.
- the ideal outcome of this thread should be as follows:
1) the Mods should fulfil my request to be banned from this board.
2) Dameon should be severely punished - preferably permabanned - for wilful baiting and personal attacks. While we're at it, BGG should be banned for the doing the same thing a few months ago and for generally continually pissing off MJD in the Universe thread.
3) sid should at the very least be formally warned and put under probation for contributing to the baiting here. And someone should also teach him how to write English properly at the same time...
4) This thread should be locked as soon as a mod or admin deigns to show up on the boards, if not deleted completely.
5) Moderators should sort out an effective and fairer policy to deal with and punish those who incite others rather than those who react to incitement.
Frankly, I'm not having much faith that any of this will happen. Though I would hope that by the time I wake up tomorrow my request/demand to be banned from here at least will have been fulfilled.
By the way, I've removed my more important worldbuilding contributions from this board where I could (they have been preserved elsewhere though). I don't see why my hard work should remain available here for a bunch of ignorant ingrates to hypocritically use when they're done insulting me and my work.
