It's a nice, all in one unit, but I'm a little leary of swinging arms under acceleration. If you must have a personal fresher, something like the design for the Nakagin Capsule sounds a little more reasonable to me.

Why not just have a big zip-up bag someone gets into, has gravitics put it into 0-g so they're floating in the thing, then run the water through it in cascading streams from top to bottom where the hose connections are. That's followed by warm air blown in to dry them through the hoses, after which they get out and fold the thing up, putting it away in a drawer in their stateroom.

Fresher-pod, for the most enjoyable, space-efficient clean you'll get this side of Sylea!

You'll need some type of breathing-apparatus or nose-plugs; water floating around as lots of big and little spheroids in zero-g tends to go up your nostrils as you try to breathe.

That's why there's a controlled stream, pushed out of the top hose and pulled into the bottom hose. Air and water are sprayed into the pod and sucked out the other end.

Space station uses a zip up tube with a comfy collar for the person's neck. Water flows through, they wash up and dry off. Then they exit the tube and wash their face and hair.

I have a bottle of 'no rinse' liquid soap I bought for camping. You just put some on a cloth or the palm of your hand, wipe it on, you wipe it off, and the rest evaporates. I have only used it on my hands, so I have no idea how well it works for someone who has been hiking all day, or moving heavy machinery on a starship.

There you go! Imagine how much more efficient the thing would be with grav technology...

A more powerful version of the no-rinse stuff could be pretty useful to have in engineering and the workshops of starships, where toxic issues (physical, not intra-crew relationships) could be dealt with using that as an additional measure after safety clothing was discarded
