An ACS - adventure class ship - refers to ships typically used by Travellers as detailed in LBB2 and elsewhere 100->5000t originally but now 100->2400ish.
T5 has this to say:

Adventure Class Ships. 100 to 2400 tons. Adventure class ships are appropriate for ownership by, and operation by, player characters. Includes Small Craft 10 to 100 tons, and non-Starships 100 to 2400 tons.
Battle Class Ships. 2400 tons to about 100,000 tons.
Fleet Class Ships. The largest of ships.
