Highness,
As a result of the Temporal Experiments in Research Station Alpha there is a serious threat detected to the existing timeline. It is predicted that a catastrophic event will take place in 1116 with the breaching of the time barrier.
The outcome of the Project Black Duke remains in serious doubt. It is strongly reccommended that you cease your campaign on the Rimward front and concentrate resources where they could stabilize the situation. Bluntly, capture Terra and leave the Solomani wondering why we did not go further. It is predicted that with 95% acuracy that the Solomani Party will lapse into rival factions.
The danger posed from the leakage of technology from the future may result in the ....
Please, I beg you Highness reconsider the time experiments and shut this operation down.

On a more serious note...will T20 be trying to explain the temporal disruption that lead to GT. As it would be really great if we could see some cross fertization of both universes. As most know that I am not the biggest fan of GT, but I still have hopes that it will eventually resolve itself into something like the Traveller of MT, having a grandeur that would encase the Imperium, not simply the Marches and Rim. If T20 is brought in surely, then Quicklink could act as a stimuli much as DGP had done for GDW when it seemed like that they were running out of ideas. Looking at the last few JTAS issues prior to thought of MT would have done, I am struck how much Traveller matured into a generic Space Opera game without a history...then once DGP started in, things started looking better.
Unfortunately, nobody really knew how to contain the Rebellion. But, I think that the best approach was that have many rival companies produce their own version of the future and allow there to be some sort of feedback mechanism such as these boards to vet out the good from the bad. Allowing us to shape the future Imperial Campaign, as it looks like the background is now being devolved into our hands, much as Greyhawk has been done.
