No plans as yet, but it is an idea we are open to.

Are you talking hardcopy or updating the combat systems?

For hardcopy, Snapshot would be "cheap", AHL, not so much.

The thing I like about AHL is that its simply a labor of love to create all of those deckplans back then when all they had were sharp sticks and string to lay them out.

Either or. I just know how hard it is to get your hands on an old copy in a reasonable price. A new release of Snapshot for example, would be a fun buy for me.

GDW's Asteroid game was fun. It's not Traveller, but easy to use Snapshot rules with. I used the maps for different scenarios.

I always wanted to use the Asteroid ship from the Judges Guild book Dra'k'en, but it was just too large. Did use a couple of levels as a dungeon crawl type game.

Thought have y'all considered a game that includes Striker/AHL penetration rules?

I'm not sure if this thread went anywhere, but I, for one, would appreciate an update.

Re-releasing these games with their cardboard cut-outs/punch-outs would be simply amazing.

I have been trying to find cheap minis I can use with the Classic Traveller starship combat vector rules, and a reprint of one or more of these games would help fill that bill very nicely.

I, for one, hope this is going somewhere (and soon). Perhaps a 50th Anniversary box set?

GDW wargames whent various ways. Marc got the traveller ones, and presumably sold them on to Mongoose with the rest of Traveller. And the Traveller wargames are on the CD. Belter isn't. Triplanetary was licensed to SJG for a while.
Marc also got Europa; no clue if he kept it.
Frank got AHD and Command Decision, plus all of Space 1889. I know he licensed out AHD and S1889; no clue on current status.
