traveller figures 25mm rare?

Hi, Years ago I worked in the gaming industry as a figure painter. Traveller released a range of 25mm figures made by RAFM and sent me the range to paint. They never released to figures in the end and only made a couple of sets from the moulds. I have the set and am thinking about selling it on ebay. Do you or your members have any idea how much I should ask for them? Did they actually release them in the end? I can't find any info about them online at all.

It has pictures of just about everything the game ever produced including miniatures. For example:

Traveller miniatures are relatively rare in any case because of limited production runs and being well out of production. They usually get fair prices, sometimes better. Like all things on eBay it depends on the right buyer finding your listing, or more than one for a bidding war.

If you do list them on eBay, or want to avoid it and sell direct, by all means drop back here and let us know (post in the Duty Free Shop forum.

I'm guessing the attempt above is a link to a file on your computer. You'll have to upload that to an image server (I use photobucket.com, free and easy) and then link to the image there to get it to show up in the post here.

A few of the figures where released as Meckton figures, also and are still floating around eBay. I hope you sell them on eBay and copyist buys them, because then they be available for everyone. I have been on a campaign or really crusade, because I have developed a martyr complex about being ignored, for 28mm Traveller figures. Normally I would not condone the use of pirated figures, but I just getting so …… must stop the rant. Only good thing that came out of my quest was I now play Infinity, can cast my own wicked figures and learned how to enlarge 25mm figures into 28mm.

That one was a Mekton figure, notice how it's taller than the one on the far left, that's a figure from the unreleased coalition/ ships crew landing party set, I have the art work for it somwhere, the white bases have a lot of Mekton figures, that considering today’s scale are pretty good height wise, just suffer from the big head syndrome, proportion issues. I’m not even sure of the spelling on the Mekton by the way, now I am.
