Traveller PC game still playable?

Is the Traveller computer game still playable on modern systems?

It wasn't that playable when it first came out. As for whether or not you can get the program to run ... Sorry, don't know.

If its the one I am thinking of you can run it on Windows by going to accessorys and then to command prompt. That will put you in DOS mode and you should be able to load and run the game from there.

Dos Box allows running it on WinXP/Vista/7, and on MacOS X.

I don't recall if DosBox for Mac OS9 would run it, but I do recall there was a DosBox version for OS9.

I don't recall if there's a DosBox for linux...

I was able to get MT1 running on a Mac OS X 10.1 machine under DosBox years ago.
