Actually, the character of Florence Ambrose is not a Vargr. She's an uplifted life-form called a "Bowman's Wolf." She's first-generation, and therefore still the property of the Earth-based institute that created her. Her position is that of Chief Engineer.
They haven't done much Travelling, being mostly planet-bound due to a non-functional stardrive.
There are, however, angry mobs, devious robots, acts of thievery, natural disasters, heroic rescues, and other assorted events common to the Traveller milieu. Top-notch material and graphics.
