CT Only: Using 1981 Drive Potential table with 1977 rules?

Hi All,

So my PDF copy of the 1977 rulebook seems to be missing the drive potential table. I have access to the 1981 version, and was wondering if there were any problems using that for design. The "Lost rules," supplement says there were substantial changes, but I'm not enough of a rules buff to understand all the implications.
I love the 77 rulebooks in all other respects, especially because they are already properly setup to work with my screen reader :)

Any thoughts on this?

The 81 drive potential table will work just fine. The main difference between the two is the 81 version fills in many of the 'gaps' in the 77 version and offers a more logical drive performance by hull size.

As long as your game uses one or the other only, no problem.

Note that the table should be bottom of page 10. The problem is that the table is obfuscated, if you've got the standard PDFs.

And, deobfuscated:

Thanks, all :) I'm perhaps being a bit obsessive about trying to get one version of the game working just so. I've just had more problems with getting this game readable than, frankly, almost any other RPG I've ever seen. Every version, including the modern Mongoose edition and T5, seems to have access issues of one form or another.

More over, I appreciate the fact that the CT errata list for the 77 version is considerably shorter than that for any other edition.
