Video: How to generate a character in Traveller5

From the guy who brought you the first Traveller5 unboxing video, comes How to generate a character in Traveller5.

This is only my second ever video, so sorry if it's a bit rough around the edges. More to the point, I'm not sure if I'm doing everything right. There were a couple of rules that weren't clear and I had to make guesses at.

Yeah, about that...

Very cool and I like the graphics, but as I posted in the comments there are a few mistakes. On the other hand I found something that as a Ref I have to bring up (I think again and the answer I seem to recall was "Yes, it is legal.") regarding Promotions, Commissions and Skills.

Anyway, thanks for posting the video and I hope to see a few more exploring how to do stuff in T5. Keep up the good work.

The character was initially created with pen-n-paper and an iPad dice rolling app. (I know I should use my nice new Traveller dice but ...)

This was converted into 150+ slides in MS PowerPoint 2007 (using one of the built in themes), and a ‘script’ added to the presenter notes.

Then, after rehearsing, I used Camtasia Suite to record each section of the slide show with narration, assembled the sections, added section transitions, added background music (the music files came with Camtasia), adjusted volume levels, and added each die rolling sound (sound taken from the iPad dice rolling app used earlier).

Finally, I uploaded the resultant MP4 file to YouTube.
