So pondering Book4's description, then wandering through GZG's website I find the "Plasma Gun", damn if is don't make a good VRF Gauss Gun.

I started to write up a few puns/re-interpretations, but realized that I only think they're funny because it's 0130 local time. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have been nearly as funny in the morning...

Back to the topic: Nifty miniatures, and it definitely works as a Gauss Gun.

That works really well because you can consider the box on the side to be the magazine/hopper to feed the gun.
