WANTED: Miniature Display case

Not sure of the appropriate forum for this, so I figured this would be best here.

I have been having a hell of a time finding any wall-mounted displays for miniatures. The stuff I see on eBay tends not to be what I am looking for, and the local craft stores don't have anything, either. I even have a Games Workshop store nearby and they don't even carry that!

Any ideas?

how difficult can it be to build? some wood, glass, a router, (and if you're not making dovetails) screws and a screwdriver and maybe a drill. If you want dovetails then add chisels (and a very small margin of error) to the list.

C'mon Jim, you could build one!

and there's always scores of curio cabinets that may fit the bill (think of people who collect shot glasses or other small items). Think outside the box to get a box :)

Hard to build it for that price, not counting shipping and handling.

That's perfect! Thanks, Dan!! Definitely putting that one on the watch list. Definitely thinking outside the box!

And ravells, yes I totally agree - I was pretty much at that point of doing it myself if I couldn't find anything else. The only problem there is that it would just get tagged to my list of projects that I never get around to doing! :) (I still need to build a workbench for my garage - and that's easy!)

And this is also perfect as my shot glasses never sit still long enough for them to be in a display case. ;)

I got my case for models and bigger figures from Ikea. I remember they had wall mounts as well, but possibly not small enough for miniatures. Other big shops may have them for collectibles.
