Wanted: Neat toys and cool equpment.

The Traveller Wiki's Special Project for March is the Equipment project. Traveller has always had detailed equipment catalogs (and detailed design systems). Usually these are big ticket items, like starships, vehicles or weapons. But this month's project is looking for the smaller things, the unusual items that are only found in the Imperium, or not as the case may be.

In this case we're looking for things like drugs, psionic devices, food, drinks, sensors, personal transport, works of art, and all manner of tools.

In the upper right corner of the main page there is a box with the text "Search Traveller RPG". Input the name of your cool toy into this box and press the blue arrow to the right of that. This will bring you to a search results page with the text "You searched for Cool toy", where the words "Cool toy" will be replaced by they name you just entered in red. Click on this red link and this will bring you to an "Editing Cool toy" page with a text box. Insert your write up into the text box, use the "Show Preview" button to make sure the whole thing looks right. There is a Manual of Style which contains some formatting tips. When finished, press the "Save Page" button.

Don't worry about getting everything exactly correct. A team of helpful editors will add missing templates, fix spelling, and so on.

I've a pretty nifty selection of goodies posted on my site (except the adult items). Plus I've just found a few new goodies on some old notepads. I currently putting together a Traveller game for next weekend (I'm taking a break right now) so might be a while before I post anything.

Purification Straw; self explanatory. Filters out most agents and microbes from water, but for best results water should be relatively clean; i.e. not water leeched from a superfund cleanup site.
