Wanted: New & Comprehensive Traveller Screen

I liked the Judges Guild screen ( I used the ship combat table for vehicle combat) but I wished Traveller had come out with a more comprehensive screen. Hopefully T5 will have one.

The only table which should be universally printed on all GM screens is a comprehensive list of pizza toppings, along with a blank space to write in the pizza place delivery number. That's the one lookup every GM would use regularly...

I have an Eight-Panel GM Screen. Trust me, they exist. 
It weighs nearly 1 pound. It's sturdy enough to be used as a blunt weapon, or instantly flatten a cockroach. It's thicker and sturdier than the thickest and sturdiest Restaurant Menu you can ever find.

Review: Ok, so I'll admit, I wasn't expecting huge amounts from this product. Its not much differently priced to any other screen and claims to be a fully customizable, 4-side screen with inserts on both sides. So, I was fully expecting it to be just that - a fairly cheap, plasticy affair that you could just print some sheets out and stick them in, that would probably fall over after a couple of uses or break. How wrong was I?!? The screen pretty much lives up to its name. Its a remarkably solid, laminate screen with strong folds that stands up incredibly well. The pockets to put your own inserts in are great; robust but totally transparent and remarkably free of glare from lights, so you can always see whats on them. Its a very well put together piece of kit. The only drawbacks, of course, are that you have to make everything for it yourself. But thats ok in a lot of cases. For instance, I bought it primarily for use with the Wheel of Time roleplaying game and Legend of the Five Rings 3rd edition, neither of which have screens available, but both games I play very regularly. It was pretty easy to throw together some artwork scrounged from the web and a copy a couple of tables out the books to make a perfectly functional screen, and providing you've got enough effort (and ability?), you could make some great stuff with this. I'm hoping that theres going to be some resources online for people to download other users screens soon- I'm certainly going to get a page up with the ones I've made- but even without that, it doesnt take much to put your own screen together and make your game just that bit more tailored to what you had in mind. In short, this is a fantastic product. Its easily the highest quality screen I've ever seen, and its only limited by what you want to put on it- that's why I've given it a 9 and not a 10 for my score. But if you play any games that you'd just get a screen- or get a good screen- for, you really can't go wrong with this.
