Wellonese Troubleshooting Team

So, just because I'm bored, I was messing about with creating a team of troubleshooters who will operate out of Wellon. It's using 2320's T20 adaptions, but I'm keeping it at 2300. You'll note no equipment, but if you are using them as NPCs, you can give them what you want.

While many tend to look down upon the Wet Navies in the 24th Century, Captain Sterling-Mills is used to proving people wrong. Her lithe frame and bookish demeanor pushed her to a fairly unflattering early assignment, training soldiers on a patrol ship out of Port Sterling. She worked hard at it, showing aptitude for analysis and collection, making her a smart choice for the intelligence division of her next posting. After a boarding went awry, then-Lieutenant Sterling-Mills led a rescue party onto a pirate vessel to retrieve the casualties, earning her a Distinguished Service Cross (Wellon's third order valor award). Impressed by her bravery, her command saw fit to assign her as part of an exchange to the British Royal Navy Brigade's 4th Battalion on New Africa. While uneventful, Lt Cdr Sterling-Mills made a reputation as a solid land soldier as well as sailor, taking part in training not usually reserved for intelligence officers. Returning to Wellon, she became the First Officer of the Northern Fleet Flotilla HMWS Knightsbridge. Taking command when the captain was injured in a skirmish with well-armed smugglers, Commander Sterling Mills was awarded her second Distinguished Service Cross and quickly promoted to Captain and given her own ship, the destroyer HMWS Cameron. While refitting, a small group of Unionist Terrorists attacked Vectis Nova Naval Base. Captain Sterling-Mills quicly organized a defense and counterattack, saving countless lives. For her efforts, she was awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross. After 20 years of service, she retired from the Royal Wellon Navy and has looked to freelance troubleshooting.

While very relaxed and easy going, Dorothea takes her responsibilities very seriously. So seriously she has divorced twice and has had no children.

A big man with a strong lust for life, Sean Connolly grew up in Dartmoor, Wellon, playing rugby, drinking, and chasing girls. At 18, he realized that he wasn't going to enjoy college much, so he enlisted straight into the Army. A strapping ox of a man, he was assigned as a heavy gunner in the High Mountain Platoon of the Wellon Army's elite 1 Mountain Regiment. High above the rest of New Scotland, he realized he found his place--the mountains. Growing weary of military life, he left the service to pursue his dream of climbing. Working as a climbing instructor and mountain guide, Sean was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal as the Tirane's top amateur climber in 2298. He turn professional shortly thereafter, and embarked on an ambitious quest to climb the ten highest peaks in the Core. After saving the classic Mount Everest for last, Sean was awarded the Meritorious Service Cross in 2301, based upon the prestige he brought upon the Commonwealth of Wellon. He has entered into a semi-retirement, climbing for fun, but looking to do something different.

In 2289, Gregory’s father, Sir Douglas Barton, Bt, finally lost his farming estate on Alicia after years of financial mismanagement. Fortunately, there was a trust that provided for Gregory’s education at Loughborough University on Earth. Gregory graduated, accepting a commission in the Royal Space Navy. He served without much distinction on the HMS Medea, a patrol vessel in the Chinese Arm, but managed to do a good enough job to secure promotion to Lieutenant and an assignment as the number two engineer on the HMS Defiance. When the Defiance damaged beyond repair at the start of the 2nd Kafer Invasion, Lt Barton selflessly rescued several of his enlisted engineers from certain death and made sure they were able to escape the ship as it was scuttled. Barely escaping with his life, Lt Barton was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and awarded the Victoria Cross. Upon return from the war, Gregory learned of his father’s death. Between this and the trauma of the events on the Defiance, Gregory resigned his commission and took on his father’s hereditary title.
