General What factions would you expect in the Tremous Dex system?

Well, since we have the Knights Who Say "Ni!", and maybe the Black Knight too, it's clear this place isn't just a one-knight stand.

(I'm blaming it all on the knights on Broadway.) [Trigger Warning: The Bee Gees from 1975.]

What?

Should I have gone with "Night Fever" as covered by the Dee Gees (better known as The Foo Fighters)? Yes, that's a thing... and it's kinda awesome, actually.

As long as they aren't dark and stormy knights... That's too cliché...

However, a Nobleperson from the Imperium might well have a residence so they can carry out business outside Imperial oversight....
Not to mention, Imperial, Zhodani or other political entities.....

Under such circumstances, the noble would be a "private person" rather than a governing authority.

True, But they would also be notable, and have an effect on events in-system. If only as a confluence of intelligence agencies....

"There was that notable luncheon date the Knight had with one of the lead techs at the port. They fell to a disagreement over a vessel with a pestle and a flagon with a dragon or some such..."

Not to derail the discussion beyond what has already occurred, but just remember that every populated non-interdicted Imperial world always has at least on Knight associated with it:

In this regard, Tremous Dex is more like the worlds of District 268.
Where the Duchess of Glisten has responsibility to advance Imperial interests in Dist 268, One would assume there is an Imperial Noble who has the same role with the neutral zone.

Not withstanding the fact the armistice after the 3FW kicked the Imperial border back and designated it as neutral space, there will be an interest. I would expect the noble in charge to be the Duke of the Vilis Subsector (Bondal a'Plena, per the OTU Canon)

This because Regina already has control over the County of Jewell and is astrographically too far away. Because the County of Jewell is only a County, and has some level of administration from Regina, I would not assume it would hold sway over the Full Duchy in Vilis subsector.

That said, even if the persons are not recognized by the local worlds as more than an Ambassador, there might be Imperial nobility who hold responsibility for each independant world in the subsector

Amusingly, the second link in your original response led to T-Map, and the link from there led to a disambiguation page. Yes, there are two of them!

There are multiple worlds with the name Nii.

Use the following list to determine the exact world or system.

1. Nii/Adar (Hinterworlds 0307)
2. Nii/Theton (Vland 2508)

This person would be a notable as Imperial Ambassor, not by any nobiliary title (s)he could have inside the Imperium. At most, the title would be added before the name in oficial documents (and probably news) for protocol reasons.

To give some (as far as you want to see) paralelism IRW, should Spain send a Baron a ambassor to any former South American colony (not to say UK to USA or India), do you believe this title would have any effect in this country, aside from the protocolary naming I said above?
