You scored as Storyteller.

The Storyteller is in it for the plot: the sense of mystery and the fun of participating in a narrative that has the satisfying arc of a good book or movie. He enjoys interacting with well-defined NPCs, even preferring antagonists who have genuine motivations and personality to mere monsters. To the Storyteller, the greatest reward of the game is participating in a compelling story with interesting and unpredictable plot threads, in which his actions and those of his fellow characters determine the resolution. It might just be COTI, but I think we have established that Travellers are more literary: we are in it for the story and characters, not the gamesmanship.

The truth is, it's all about your character and what he does. If I just want to 'level up' then I play Balders Gate on the Playstation II.

Interesting poll. I'd have thought I'd have scored a higher tactician rating seeing as I 'found' RPGs by way of wargames. Looking back however, most of my RPG experiences weren't exclusively combat oriented. Puzzles didn't require guns to be solved.

Have fun,
Bill

I guess this follows pretty well. Not bad for a web poll.

This is what happens when you see "51" on the pager list and decide to see what happens when you click it. ;)
