What Space Explorers look for?

Except those remnants that didn't get caught in a Big Crunch/Suck would still be around.
The remnants are still part of the universe. The "crunch" is the collapse of the entirety of spacetime. I would guess a stasis field could survive through a cycle, if it could be kept powered long enough. Now THERE's an Ancient Artifact for you!
I'd never heard that. What would the 5th dimension be?
It's up up and away -- the direction your beautiful balloon goes.

What is "base languages"???

actually that sounds interesting. primitive languages can be absurdly complicated, even sophisitcated, and it's hard to believe bored baboons just puttered them up arguing over bananas and females. maybe a big black 1 by 4 by 9 monolith handed it off to us ....

What would the 5th dimension be?

haven't a clue. can you imagine how a creature living in a bi-polar computer program would envision living in a 3D 3-degrees-of-freedom universe?

The big bang is calculated to have reached such temperatures that baryons can't exist, only loose quarks. Nothing can survive that except quarks even if there is a quintillion-year cycle Bang-to-Crunch cycle.

Current speculation is that particles (including a small percentage of nucleosynthesized helium and light metals) are completely ionized for almost 50k years, and another 300k+ years before neutral (non-ionized) atoms dominate and the universe become transparent.

Pretty sure nothing apart from naked nuclei can withstand near stellar core temperatures for thousands of years and solar chromosphere temperatures for several hundred thousand years.

Depends. We know at least one sophont in canon was able to create a pocket universe. A pocket universe might be able to survive the 1 megayear needed for a reasonable universe to cycle.
