Patron Zero: that reminds me of the coding of airports on sectionals vs Terminal Charts.

The hollow blue circle is a non-hard-surface runway
Hollow blue circle with a letter or anchor - no fixed-wing landing strip.
Solid blue circle with runways in white - 1500'-8069'
Runways with blue border, no circle - ≥8069 & fuel and services.

Has cross-hairs: adds fuel services
Has dot in the blue - VOR/VORTAC by runway.

if you want details on the airport, you look at the Terminal Approach charts and/or the terminal detail charts.

OTHER
A supplement that presents alternate technological progressions. Sure TL 0-7 (or 8 depending on which version of Traveller you play) are "known" and higher TL are progressions of known science with some assumptions thrown in for good measure. But what if some of these assumptions were different?

NEW SETTING
Using the T5 or MgT rule system (stats, skills, combat rules), but not necessarily the Tech. Somewhat in line with above:

--Perry Rhodan (yea, if you can get the license for that one!)
--Steampunk/Dieselpunk
--and of course the one I always whine about, a fantasy(like) setting with magic as an alternative or in competition with "standard science". Or as Golan the Insatiable would say, "We'll have to resort to magic for losers, "science". Eww!" There are some Traveller Compatible supplements already out there down that path. It can be done...
