I'm headed home after three and a half days of worry and concern.

I had a stroke. A small one, but a stroke nonetheless. Nothing to worry about in the long run, but I'm sorry for the interruption.

I had my first heart attack at the tender age of 38 (just 1 term after starting those aging rolls ), and I took the opportunity to work harder at being healthy, for my wife's sake at least.

Every day since then has been a gift (even when I got laid off last year, although it didn't feel like it at the time).
