It's a lot of english word play combined with a Traveller context.
Language translation will no doubt ruin the humor value of the play on words in english.

Kind of like how saying "one pattern" can have 2 meanings in japanese ... "wan pattaan" sounding like a dog barking (wan wan) thanks to japanese onomonopeia. But you need to know both languages in order to get the joke.
