You know it's going to be a long week in jump space when someone on the lounge says:

what's jump space look like?

is there a jump flash?

do we have a jump grid in the hull?

what's all the fuel for?

is there a jump grid?

do we jump with velocity relative to anything?

can we jump at near c velocity and aim for a population centre?

are there pirates?

so how does the maneuver drive work?

To be continued...

When you start hearing someone (Or something) knocking on the airlock door just after entering Jump Space.

Sounds like the captain's five year old son wandering the galley.

When it starts raining in the cargo hold. Could be something wrong with the pipes or just one of those freaky things that happen in jumpspace or my personal favorite...two elements are leaking from two separate containers the binary interaction of both elements causes "rain".

When the Vargr purser throws up his hands and says he cannot help the Aslan passengers.

The Navicomputer punches out coordinates and precipitation into N-Space puts in you the middle of planetoid belt instead of the garden planet (best used with the cue to Imperial March). Players usually jump out and fast.

When the freshers and recycling units are temperamental each exchange air quality with the other.

You take on a group Zhodani nobles and intendants (and you are not psionic) as passengers. Dinner table "conversations" are filled with mirth and merriment then it suddenly stops. No matter what happens, nobles nor intendants do not want to open up and discuss what happened.

T5 fundamentally rewrites the jumpspace proceedures and one of the players has an advance copy.
