My default right now is the Traveller Book.

For character creation I would allow addition of Supplement 4 Citizens of the Imperium with Careers without advancement gaining 2 skills per term a'la Scouts. (Note this last bit is in the back of the Spinward Marches Campaign).

Thank you for pointing that out - I rarely use those character gen tables.

So official errata is any CT career that has no commission or promotion gets two skills per term.

Time to take another look at Other...
