I seem to recall back when 2320AD came out someone had made 3D models of a bunch of the ships. I cannot seem to find the bookmark or images of them on google unfortunately and my copy of 2320AD is at home to look up a name.
However, I came across this site where you can upload your 3D drawings and they will make a physical copy of it: http://www.shapeways.com/
Not sure what the copyright implications are or who even has them, but something to consider. I would buy some.
