It is unimaginably sad and and incredibly frustrating how many potentially cool links on the board are dead and defunct. How many deckplans are no more? how many designs and ideas are gone forever? I am not a computer tech head by any means (practically a Luddite actually) so please, is there anything that can be done to retrieve even a portion of thses lost link? And is the some thing we can do to prevent future losses?mega:

I too share your frustration.

A lot of these link to outside sites that the original owners have abandoned. Unless someone knows just who and what and how to get that back up somewhere, it's pretty much gone.

Also, some of the links no longer work for things still on CotI, however aramis is only one man and if you look at the amount of spam he fights, and other duties, that's a long way off if ever.

Can't really do anything if the person who owns the page isn't updating it. They can always ask someone else to take over.
