A CONTEST: Mercenary Unit Ticket

I'm not sure if this is what you guys want to do, but perhaps you can contact the guys at Hellions (they do stuff for SJGames) or perhaps Mexal from the TML. If you'd like, I can ask for a volunteer from Hellions.
Well Mexal is among other wonderful things, one of the THB playtesters and a CotI member/poster. I've PM'd her which should go to one of her email addys. Would be great to have her in on this.

Hmmm wonder if we could get any of the TML Penguin Legions to sign up on CotI.

A general website would be nice but having a forum to post on would be a must IMO. CotI fits the bill esp. considering the contest is for CotI members only.

<bows> Thank you for the compliment master, forgive my impertinence for not realizing it was a singular title. I meant no challenge to your might as The Blasphemer. <bows a few more times, backing out of the great ones presence>

To All Contestants:

Please note, I might recommend you not get too far ahead of the curve till we post rules and standards, which are being reviewed by the judges as we speak...uniform salaries, costs of gear and equipment and a host of other things will be posted. Not saying its a bad idea to think ahead, but you might want to save some effort, as whats going up may not coincide with your sources.

As to venue, questions and clarifications should best be posted to the threads, alowwing all to see them (unless they are personal in nature) A more general question - for instance, that of costs , or perhaps available tech levels, that sort of thing - is best suited there, where as specifics of your unit you want clarified you don't wish others to see (understandably) is best handled here.

Please note, most clarifications may take a couple of days, as they will be reviewed by all the judges...so expect perhaps 48 hours on a response on the outside, although we are shooting for a 24 hour response. Naturally, we hope to do better, but schedules and RL will intrude.

Seriously though, good thought and we'll be patient, oh yes we can. Break out the cards kids!

bryan gibson; I thought we were supposed to come up with a tech level 13 standard unit with a 24 MCr. budget, and then create a ticket for them. What's up?

Also, wasn't it due this week?

Sorry, but I think I have to back out - I have an idea, but no idea how to follow through; in addition, I have no knowledge of T20 and know no-one who does and is willing to help.

sorry for the mixup, my post should have been clearer.

The current deadline is for enry as contestants, rather than submission of units.

1. you may build UP TO a TL13 unit. It needn't be, especially if you cannot afford it.

2. Contest doesn't begin until Aug. 1st. right now we are taking and registering contestants, not accepting entries.

Just a little bump to keep this current, and to throw out my own thanks to all for volunteering their time and donating prizes. Way cool.

As it stands if I read it right we have four confirmed contestants. Come on now, surely there are others interested? Maybe we just need to spread the word a little more? <rushes off to file scoop with JTAS>

Jame, you may want to hold off on pulling out of the contest until after Bryan posts his information. It may be that all the info you need will already be provided.

bryan; thanks for the clarification. I got a TL 13 unit, but something tells me they're gonna be

Ah well. Looking forward to the competition.

well, here we are, 23 july and about a week from entrie deadline, and only 4 contestants?

Hmm....I had hoped for a greater response, its a sad day when the contestants outnumber the judges...any takers?

You do mean "contestants barely outnumber the Judges" right?
In a way I'd have to agree with you. :(
