I've never liked it.
Either you have to go through the passenger area to get to your cabin, or you have to go through the hold. Even worse, there's a silly cabin right behind the bridge. It just looks like someone's had enough and crammed the whole lot in willy nilly.
So I've had another look and rearranged some stuff. The only modifications are the movement of partitions, two new bulkhead sections and another lift emplacement. Some things have been moved some distance but it's nothing too serious.
Changes;
All passenger accomodation is now in the port forward pod. A lift has been placed to communicate between these two decks. The old captain's cabin is now a lounge area for passengers who can admire the view (and are paying for it). Three cabins are on the lower deck and four on the upper deck, moving all passenger accomodation away from the bridge. Two sections of bulkhead are mounted behind the air/raft bay on top of bulkhead sections on the deck below giving a better compartmentation. The room created (with a narrow 1m wide companionway outside) is the new location for the low berths. The crew quarters is now in the forward starboard pod, on the upper level. Three cabins, a storage room and the galley now occupy the upper level. Below this is the ship's locker, the armoury and firefighting equipment and the crew lounge directly behind the bridge.
The upper deck companionway allows the steward/gunner/medics direct access to the passenger accomodation with little effort. A door isolates the passengers from the turret and hold doors and a new pressure door isolates them from the crew quarters, bridge and low berths.
I didn't move stuff like the life support, computer room or other difficult to rearrange installations. The old low berths and ships locker have been turned into workshops that also have a large pressure door access into the hold.
The original plan for this ship was taken from This site and I only added the grid and the new changes, most of the work was done by the owner of that site and most of the credit should go to that person.
