I was wondering if anyone would get the third joke, it has been a looong time (thank god!) since those commercials ran. I guess they left an indelible scar on the american memetic landscape...

BTW, I was going to use an "open top" air/raft at first, but it was a lot easier to draw the enclosed one, and, anyway, while the open topped version may be 'classic" I never saw it as very practical.

I know it was supposed to be a flying jeep, but I still think a roofed version makes more sense aerodynamically, and helps protect against harsh UV, micro meteors, solar flares and such when in space.
