Anyone going to Vapnartak?

Is anyone planning to go to Vapnartak this Sunday? Is it any good. I live in Pocklington so its not far from me at York Racecourse - a bit lazy of me that I havent been before in fact. Looks interesting, but not sure if its got any rpg games there - tabletop wargames I think it is mainly, which I dont do. But it looks good for a walk around.

I was wondering for a moment if this was a recruitment bit for a game. "Vapnartak"? Where the heck does that name come from?

It's Norse. Dunno what it means, but there are a lot of Viking remains around York and the locals like to think of themselves as Viking descendants.
So, if you're going to hold a wargame convention in York, a Viking name is good marketing.

I've been a couple of times. There are RPGs there as well as wargames, and the usual stalls and a couple of guys wearing furs and horned helmets. They probably still do a bring and buy, etc.

I haven't been for a while, and I won't be there this year either. Hobbies and 'unnecessary' travel are sorely hit in a recession.

Well where I live - Pocklington - the town dates back to the bronze age and was around before York and London even.
