Armor benefits degrade

What types of armor are you using and I will see what I can come up with.

We are just using the base armor from Book #1. However, I have been just recycling these armors and changing weights associated to the items to give different aspects and items. I know it sounds simple and it is, but I do not have the feel of the system and world yet. It is a learning experience, but it is coming along nicely.

I was assuming that and I am working up some data for you based on the following system for personal armor: Jack, Chain Mail, Mesh, Ablat, Cloth, and Reflec. I have added Chain Mail to the mix, as that would be found at lower tech levels, and Mesh is supposed to be an improvement on Chain Mail. Ideally, Plate should be in the mix as well, as good quality Plate, as in the back-and breast plate worn during the English Civil War, and later by Cuirassier Cavalry during the Napoleonic period was capable of stopping pistol balls.

For weapons of attack, I will assume black powder soft lead rounds, pistol fire, rifle fire, blunt force trauma weapons (clubs, hammers, baseball bats, mace, etc.), slashing weapons, and thrusting weapons.

In the initial analysis, Ablat is an underrated armor, while blunt force trauma weapons have the widest armor effective range. Blunt force trauma weapons will not really degrade the armor however.

Thanks... this would work great!!!
