Hi,
I've always wanted to shift a bit more attention from the human-social aspects of Trav, toward some scientific, in fact astronomical aspects of the universe. Why else go into space, if its just a nice backdrop outside of the porthole?
I'm thinking of some of more scientific problem solving episodes of ST: Next Gen, or the Larry NIven Known Space stories.
Space is big, but increasingly, its filled with weird, bizarre, fantastic, mesmerizing and stupendous things!

A subsector with several such things, should hopefully provoke some very cool adventures, without recourse to the usual streetwise shinnanigeans.
