I'd say more like seven Tech Levels, of course they called them "Gods" at the time not "Aliens".

Read Ezekiel in the Old Testament sometime. Some people claim it's a close encounter. It's... interesting.

Reading more, it sounds like someone in powered armor. And a small ship or grav vehicle above them.

I've oftened wondered just how serious such efforts are. I know many folks would love to hear from extra terrestrials (at least the ones that are NOT doing the anal probing thingy.) But there are also concerns that if such an effort were to succeed, it would not be a good thing.

To my knowledge, no one has successfully challenged or redone the Brookings report from the 60's that stated that the discovery of extra terrestrials would be detrimental to human civilization. The two attempts I know of where we actually sent messages out, were directed toward Andromeda and some star clusters thousands of light years away. It seems like these attempts were designed such that they would not succeed until long after our species either gives up the ghost, or has expanded to the point where it would be no problem.

If you are going to use the bible don't forget the Watchers out of the area known as Egypt.

And those of the heavens that had lust for the (human) women of (dirt/terra) earth. They made love and had childern that were large (giants?) and individuals of lore/rep.

Paraphased a bit but not much. And that is just from the recongized and approved bible.

If you use things from Dead Sea Scroll or the Nag Hammadi scrolls there is much more 'lore' and or 'history' from back then.

(NOTE: This is not a discussion or claiming any religious things only referencing material from an ancient time frame that adds more to the mystery and possibilities of things what we don't know.)

You have to be pretty dedicated or extremely interested to find and read the book/works on those two finds.

Just talking about them in some 'religious' areas/section/individuals hearing, will start fights.

If you would like to read an interesting, some what researched with good footnotes about the past (future?) and like the TV show Stargate:SG1[/y] then I would recommend this book to start with:

Nephilim Stargates: The Year 2012 and the Return of the Watcher by Thomas R. Horn.

There are other authors and other books. I am only recommending this one as a start point because it will easy to read and somewhat 'futuristic' based on the past.
