I've listened to Lone Star Planet, Space Viking and (non-SF) Murder in the Gunroom by Piper in my office. The readers are very good. I can listen to a great story and still be doing work, what's not to like?

Yes it hit or miss on the readers.

The same reader has done some of Andre Norton's space novels.

I tried listening to E.E. Doc Smith's "Triplanetary" but the reader is not as enjoyable.
