Speaking of nose art, and Starfury nose art in particular, here is a site that sells some decals for the plastic Starfury model, and also some "general" noseart.

Second that. Great site!

I have noticed that WWII ETO noseart was generally cheesecake, while art in the Pacific was often ⌧ographic. This was probably because thee were few english-speaking women to be offended and press photographers were few and descrete. (Something similar happened with the Wings in Thailand during Vietnam.)

As the end of the war neared all noseart in the Pacific was scrubed off.

Hmm, with sexual equality in the Imperium there will be beefcake art as well as cheesecake. But, please, no-one feel obliged to give us an example.
