Cool! What are the dimensions?
2.65 x 2.65 x 5.75m (3dt). Small enough to actually fit into a ship, be moved, secured, etc.
Probably covered in GT:FT.

The standard cargo container of the old Empire was designed to be able to be built on the majority of worlds within the old Empire. The 3x3x6 m dimensions allow it to take up 4 standard tons of cargo space, and this has caused the merchant fleet and cargo carrying boats and vehicles to be designed to accommodate this.
As these were the old Empire’s standard, they are therefore the standard container in Home County. There are still containers being shipped around Home County that were built in the old Empire before the battle of Homestead. As there is very little attrition standard containers are generally only currently built on Mirshegam, by Cutour Corporation, however there are companies in Boogerian, and on Riftgate and Udesh that have the capability to build them as the need arises.
