CC2 - Cosmographer

CC2Pro is a VERY powerful mapping tool. I was really frustrated at the learning curve (which can be practically VERTICAL for new users...), but the excellent on-line support via their Yahoo! group has been nothing short of amazing.
I would vouch CC2 is an excellent tool for mapping planets/towns/villages and with Cosmographer and the new symbol library, it's become MUCH more Traveller/sci-fi friendly.
But as far as sector and subsector mapping goes, I'm still a 100 percent Galactic fan. That program is SO simple and easy-to-use, it's mind-boggling. Heaven and Earth shows some promise, but it's still been a little buggy for me. Jim V. rocks.

Yep.
I received a copy of the Cosmographer Addon a couple of days ago and I am very pleased.
Really fine now for creating detailed deckplans (there are also templates for interactive multi-deck drawings), local "modern" maps and adapted subsector extracts.
Perhaps more general subsector/sector mapping will be covered "state-of-the-art" by H&E 2.

Regards,

Mert
