Are you thinking of Friday, June 1st, to meet, or the following Friday?
I am thinking Friday, June 1st, at Games Plus. I still need to reach out to them to see about room to sit. I am thinking we'd get together to talk about ongoing Traveller efforts, the game in general, and just be a little real-world social.
Which day were we going to meet around Tinley?
As my week is shaping up, Friday will be better for being down south for me. Does that work, SS?
Timerover, are there particular days where it's easier for you to get to Mount Prospect? I work from Schaumburg most Wednesdays ( except when I travel for work, like this week ) and could jet there easily then, but I could also roll with most any other night except Monday. I apologize for the switch up for this Friday; I expect to be quite done with traffic by then.

Greetings Spenser and Kelly. In the summer, I pretty much take it a day at a time, as I am heat sensitive to go with my other problems. I am not sure I can guarantee making it on a Wednesday, but as my Bible study on that night has ended, it might be possible. Probably the best it try and make it on a Friday to Games Plus when you are there.
Sounds like a plan. Where did we want to meet? And which version are we using?
Also, would Games Plus be a good one to do on a weekend, maybe? We could get some longer playing time in.

Certainly the Goat in Tinley or Grapple in NL work fine for me.
For versions I have MT, Mongoose 1st and 2nd, T4, GURPS ( heh ), and T5 in the physical and I'm more familiar with them... but everything else in digital and I could spin up. What do you think?

I can make it to the Goat, probably after 5pm. I wouldn't mind Mongoose ver.2. I've been itching to try it out. If I'm running late for some reason, I'll call the Goat and have them page you.

Okay, looks like we're going to be playing on the far south side - Tinley/New Lenox-ish - every other Friday night at a friendly local gaming store. Our first date is June 15th, and I hope to get "session 0" stuff done before then. I'll probably put up a campaign wiki and we'll do some meta-gaming between sessions.
It's shaping up to be a Scout campaign in the Marches/Trojan Reach, using Mongoose v2 as a base but inspiration from many other sources. I'm much bigger on story and less so on crunch.

Meeting Places
I don't mean to drop in on your group but for meeting locations a good alternate is local libraries. A lot of them have meeting rooms that can be reserved.
I've been refereeing a Mongoose 2E game weekly for the last year and a half at the Chicago Public Library (Harold Washington), and that works out really well.
